Converting ..pdf to .doc files

I was unable to convert a .pdf file to .docx and was offered the option of buying the product for 12 months but I did this and I believe it was less than 10 months ago.  In any case, I would expect an email asking if I wished to continue for another year - but I have had no such email.  I am loathe to buy again until I can be sure that no contact exists.

I have tried to go to Adobe support but am sent in a circular motion back the the start page!
