Question

Converting PDF to JPG creating unwanted zip file

I'm converting PDFs to JPGs but instead of asking me where on my computer to save the JPGs, they are going into a zip file. I don't want compressed images, I need high resolution. I can't find a settings area to stop zip files from being created.

Did you ever receive a solution to this problem? We updated computers at work and the new Adobe pro keeps doing this. Considering the number of files we convert from PDF to image, this adds significant time by adding unnecessary steps.

 Hi @katiel69334169

Hope you are doing well, and thanks for reaching out. We are sorry for the trouble you are experiencing.

Please confirm if you are using the Adobe Acrobat Pro desktop application or a Web extension.

Have you started experiencing this issue recently after an update, or was it occurring earlier as well? What is the version of the Acrobat application and the OS you are using?

Is this an issue with a particular PDF file or with all the PDFs? Please try with a different PDF file and check.

Also, a small video recording of the steps and the issue as it occurs would be very helpful.

That’s not a solution. It’s fine if it is one file but mutliple files adds unnecessary steps and time.
