Recently when I convert PDF to word documents, the resulting word document looks like heiroglyphics.   It is totally unreadable.  A co;py of the output is shown below.

Is this with all documents or just the one? Which typefaces are being used in the PDF? Are any of them Type 1?

Please confirm that you are using Adobe Acrobat Online to make the conversion.

Sorry it took so long.  Prior to a coupe of months ago, this utility worked great.  Recently, no matter what I convert, it ends up filled with garbage.  I used the Adobe Acrobat Reader which has a Convert Button in it.  I simply press Convert and it sends the document to adobe, translates and gives me a message with a pointer so I can save the results.  After saving I open it using Microsoft Word which I keep current.  I do not know what Type 1 means.
