I agree, my Acrobat Pro DC 2021.011.20039 does the same thing.

Your JPEG is 3543 x 3236 pixels at 300 ppi. This is 300 x 274 mm.

Acrobat is ignoring the resolution and assuming 72 ppi, which makes the file 1233 x 1126 cm.

This is a bug, I suggest you report it here: https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html

Adobe do not check these forums for bug reports.

Two suggestions

1. If you have Photoshop it will do a good job of saving this JPEG as a PDF.

2. You will get better results to save direct from the original design (Illustrator? InDesign? QuarkXPress?) to PDF. The text will be clearer. The file will probably be smaller.

When you report the bug, please post a link in your reply here, so other people can vote. Adobe only fix popular bugs, I think.

What is the actual size of the JPEG in pixels, and the resolution (ppi) for the JPEG?

Are you able to share the original JPEG?
