    Hi bowanad,

You absolutely will! To convert your document, choose File > Save as Other > Microsoft Word > Word Document. Make sure that the correct language is selected for optical character recognition (click Settings in the bottom-right corner of the Save As dialog box to see the language selected for OCR).

Please let us know how it goes.

    Best,

Guess I'm doing something wrong, the document comes as a "picture". I need it as a regular word dock to copy and paste certain paragraphs to another word doc.

I don't think you're doing anything wrong. Try placing your cursor in the text block you want to edit and triple-clicking. It can sometimes be tricky to select text in converted documents.

If that doesn't work, it's possible that OCR wasn't enabled when you converted the file. If not, image text (such as text in a PDF created from a scanned document), won't be converted to selectable/editable text. Click Settings in the bottom of the Save As dialog box when you save as Word format, and make sure that Run OCR if Needed is selected.

Please let us know how it goes.
