I need to count the number of characters of each page converted to word. How can I do this? I'm not finding any indication in the bottom. Thank you.

PDF is really not a suitable format for counting characters, but if you must use it the best approach would be to write a script that goes over all the words in all pages and adds up the characters in each word. You need to be familiar with JavaScript to do that and don't expect the results to be too accurate.

To count the no. of characters in the word file please check : http://office.microsoft.com/en-in/word-help/count-the-number-of-words-in-a-document-HP005190155.aspx

    Hi Maritaca,

There is no option to count number of characters on PDF document using Acrobat/Reader. If you are asking about the word document Microsoft people will be the best contact for that.

Thank you Ajlan. After converting a file from pdf to word with ExportPdf the page doesn't show the information showed in Word, such as: Page, Word or Characters and the Language at the left bottom. As I'm a translator I need to count words or characters. So I'm asking myself if it's worthwhile having the subscription of ExportPdf. Yesterday, before my subscription I've read that ExportPdf converts Pdf to Excel. Is that right?Thank you again.MaritacaDate: Wed, 26 Feb 2014 20:10:00 -0800
