Create new document then send for signature

I want to fill out a lease with a form that I created.  Then send that lease for signature without the tenant being able to change any of the information, just sign it.  When I open the completed lease form, and send it, it leaves it open for the recipient to edit the fields in addition to signing the form.

Any help would be appreciated

Hi Michellef47281096,

You may use password protection on the file to prevent it from being edited.

You may refer to the help document in the link below for the same:

Securing PDFS with passwords, Adobe Acrobat

Also, you can consider flattening the document to have a non editable form.

For the same, please refer to the discussion in the link below :

Making an editable PDF Form non-editable (a shortcut)

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks,
