Customer signature black line

Hi,

If antone can help that would be great.

We are having issues with a customer contract whilst using Fill & Sign.

They can fill it in using the functionality, thats not a problem.

This issue is that sometimes the customers signature does not save properly to the pdf and all it renders is a black line.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi Tmhubie,

Thank you for sharing the details.

As you mentioned that the file is a pdf form created in Acrobat Pro DC and so if it has interactive form fields, you should be able to access and fill the form in Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile app as well.

Fill and Sign mobile app is generally used to write on pdf files which are not interactive and do not have precreated forms fields.

Please check and confirm, if you are getting the same issue while filling and signing these files in the regular Acrobat Reader app on your tablet.

I have a dcument that was signed in Adobe sign by three people and adobe says it is complete and shows it as signed.  But I can't see any of the signature when I open the document in Adobe DC.

Hi tmhubie,

There is specific reason as to why this would happen.

Could you please confirm which program are they using to sign the file, is it Acrobat or Reader and which the full version of the same?

Also the contract that they are signing is that an interactive for or just a regular pdf file?

Hi Harsha,

Thanks for replying:)

We have iPads which customers use to sign the contracts. They use Adobe Fill & Sign App.

Here’s the process.

1.       We install the iOS App Adobe Fill & Sign from the App Store.

2.       We install this to an iPad Air Device which has latest IOS Version 11.4

3.       We use the App to Open and Edit a PDF File that has a field that allows a customer to enter his signature.

4.       The Signature is captured and saved to the PDF file for later storage.

Adobe Fill & Sign on the App?Store

The pdf the are signing is a standard pdf with forms created in Acrobat Pro DC

If you need anymore info please just ask
