DELETING FILES FROM THE HEADER IN ADOBE

After deleting a file with Adobe, the title remains in the view all roster of files, and there does not appear to be a way to remove a old title of a file?

Does anyone know the magic key to remove the titles from old files on Adobe XI

    Hi perlowm,

I'm afraid that I don't quite follow. Are you saying that you've deleted some PDF files from your system (Mac OS or Windows) and that they're still appearing in a file list? Are you referring to the Recent Files list that appears when you start Acrobat or Reader?

If so, you can clear that list by changing the Acrobat/Reader preferences:

    1. Choose Acrobat/Reader > Preferences (Mac OS) or Edit > Preferences (Windows).
    2. Click the Documents category.
    3. Enter "0" (or another value) in the Documents in Recently Used List.

I hope that answers your question. If not, please let us know.

    Best,

    Sara
