How do I disable OCR?  I'm trying to convert a pdf into word but it says the file is too large. I thought if I disabled OCR I might have better luck.  Is there a size limit?

    Hi Carol,

To disable OCR please do below:

    1. If you are using Adobe Reader then Click "Change" under Export PDF> Recognize Text in English(U.S) then choose "Disable Text Recognition" option.

    2. If you are using https://exportpdf.acrobat.com/signin.html then select "Export from PDF" from right pane then click "Select Files" button. Aftter selecting your PDF file Edit Option dialog prompts.  Please check OFF for "Recognize scanned text in"

The file size limit is 100MB, however, it depens on the files such as scanned image PDF/complexity and the server traffic condition.

Please send me your file if possible so that I can review it.
