Do you need Adobe pro to be able to use text recognition on a MAC?

I have the Adobe PDF plan and I can't seem to find how to utilize the text recognition feature.  Do I need the Pro edition to be able to utilize this function?

    Hello,

    Yes, you need Acrobat Pro edition to enable text recognition. Unfortunately, this feature is not available in Adobe reader.
