Question

Download problem after converting a PDF to word

I've done the converting, just like I've done in the past, but now it won't let me download the converted file back to my computer.  What is causing this?  It is a fairly new computer and this is the first time I have tried to convert and then download on it.

Thanks

Hi citrus1,

Please let us know what happens when you try to download the file. Are you getting an error? If so, what js that error?

For starters, let's try this:

  • Clear the browser cache and try again.
  • Try a different web browser (see System requirements | Acrobat.com for a list of supported web browsers)
  • Try downloading a different file. Is the problem specific to one file?

Let us know how it goes. If you're still running into trouble, we'll go from there.

Best,

Sara

I've emptied my cache and tried using explore instead of Chrome.  I even used another person's computer and cannot download any files including files that I created before my new computer.  I see a very brief flash of "Waiting for acrobat.com" on the bottom left corner of my screen.  After the flash, nothing happens.  No error message, no stalling or reloading.  It just acts like it did before I asked it to download.
