I used Acrobat to convert a PDF to a DOCX / Word document so I could edit the document which in this case was a questionnaire and send back to sender.

I logged into acrobat.com, found the file, opened it up and it is not editable. It does not let me type on the document which was why I converted it to Doc file in the first place.

    Hi LEDLIT,

Did you convert the file using Acrobat or the ExportPDF online service (you mention Acrobat, but say the file is saved online, so I just want to make sure we are talking about the same thing)!

Are you trying to edit the file online, or did you download the Word document to your desktop before opening it in Word? If you have the document open in Word, are you able to select the text by triple-clicking?

Let us know how that goes--and if you're still having trouble, please tell us how the PDF file was created, and what you used to convert it.

    Best,

    Sara
