Email Pop-ups Offering Adobe Update Downloads

I am getting suspicious email pop-ups asking me to download updates from Adobe Reader.  These pop-ups look offical but I don't trust them. I have had recent adware problems so I'm not sure if Adobe is sending Reader updates of if these are more adware issues.  Has anyone else had this kind of problem recently?
