When I convert files to .pdf, I cannot open it and receive an error message "invalid menu handle." How do I remedy this?

What program are you using to open the PDF file? Does this happen with other PDF files or just those produced by Adobe CreatePDF?

Hi,

Thanks for your response.

I usually click on Acrobat Reader; however, after I had a remote company to do some repairs on my computer, strange things have been happening - programs missing and others not working, include Adobe. When I click on my Adobe files now, they all give me an error message and I have to go to my browser to find a file type in which to open them. But when I save them, they are in an unreadable format. I'm so confused...

Thanks, Phillis

It does sound as though your computer is in a different state than you had it, and I can't provide any support for that. This forum is for users of Adobe's Acrobat.com services.

If you need help with Adobe Reder, try posting in that forum: http://forums.adobe.com/community/adobe_reader_forums

Perhaps it's just a matter of making Reader your default program for opening PDF files.

Good luck!
