Error: Not connected to the internet when convert PDF to excel

I'm trying to convert a pdf file to excel using Acrobat Reader DC but I keep getting told I'm not connected to the internet.

I've been issued a new work laptop and have tried to convert Acrobat Reader pdf files to excel but it says I'm not connected to the internet even though I definitely am. Incidentally, it used to happen from time to time on my previous laptop. Is this a 'trusted site' issue where my work administator needs to add the cloud URL to my trusted sites?

Would appreciate some help as I'm currently paying for something I can't use.

Thanks,

CG

    Hello CG,

Sorry for the delayed response and inconvenience caused. AS per the description above, you are getting an error message "Not connected to the Internet" while converting a PDF file using Adobe Reader, Is that correct?

The record shows that you are subscribed to Adobe ExportPDF service with the current Adobe ID, try exporting the PDF file through the URL https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf with your Adobe ID and password on a browser like Chrome, or Firefox, or Safari and see if you still get the error message on the browser.

Check for any pending updates of Adobe Reader from help>check for updates, reboot the machine after installing the updates and see if the issue is reproducible?

For Internet troubleshooting, you may refer to the Adobe article Resolve connection errors with Adobe Creative Cloud and Creative Suite applications

I have also shared the list of Adobe ports and URLs via private message, please check your email inbox, share the details with your IT team and ask them to whitelist the Adobe ports and URLs.

Let us know how it goes and share your findings.

    Regards,

    Anand Sri.
