If you did not purchase Adobe PDF services you cannot do that from Reader. You can always copy and paste in to Word.

Trying to covert a PDF document to Word but it only converted 1 page, why?

Six years later and I am having the same issue. (excle, not word.. but the error happens on all types of exports)

  • I have a paid account. 
  • I can export from the cloud but not the reader
  • It takes me to a purchase page every.single.time I try to export from the reader, eventhough I am logged in. 

What's the rub? Is it a bug, or user error?

Please try reinstalling the Acrobat Reader once. You may reinstall the application using the following steps:
- Remove the application and run the cleaner tool (https://adobe.ly/3uPYHvZ).
- Reboot the machine
- Install Adobe Acrobat Reader from the following page: https://adobe.ly/3uPYJ75;

Are you trying to do this from Reader or. cloud.acrobat.com?

Before was possible to convert from Pdf to word....Now, no!
