Question

ExportPDF document conversion no longer works for me...why?

I am currently subscribed to ExportPDF and have been since around March of last year or earlier. However, since last April, I have not been able to convert any exported PDF files. I've tried numerous times to upload PDF documents for conversion, but continue to get the error message "conversion failure - The file has not been processed.

An error has occurred which stopped the processing of the PDF. "
What has changed? Initially, I had no problems uploading files and I was quite happy with the service. Now, I am getting ready to cancel request a credit for previously paid subscription fees. I would prefer the keep and use the service, as it is a valuable tool that could assist with my job functions. However, if it doesn't work, I'm only wasting time and money and now I'm frustrated enough to cancel.
Would love to have someone clear this matter up instead of having to cancel...

    Hi rosshann,

Let's gather a few details about your system so we can figure out where things are falling apart. The following information would be very helpful in determining the problem:

    • Whether you're signing in via Reader or the ExportPDF website
    • What browser you're using
    • What version of Reader you have (choose Help > Check for Updates to get the most recent version)
    • How large are the files that you're trying to convert (file size, as well as number of pages)
    • Whether you're using Mac OS or Windows

Some basic troubleshooting to start with is clearing the browser cache, making sure that you're using a supported web browser (System requirements | Acrobat.com), and making sure that there are no firewall or proxy settings that are limiting your access to the Internet.

    Best,

    Sara
