Failed to convert PDF to .doc or .xlsx

I've just bought Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, being promised that it would allow me to export PDF's to other file formats. It works the first time I try it, however it leaves out several numbers in the exported document - for some reason only repeating numbers was affected. The second time it does't allow me to export a four page document, neither to .doc or .xlsx, although I could easily have made it in either one. Am I doing something wrong or do I have reason to be disappointed?

So you bought the ExportPDF online service; is that correct?  (Adobe/Acrobat Reader by itself is free.)

What exactly means "doesn't allow me"?

I bought the ExportPDF.

Bad choice of word on my part. It failed to export the file for some reason - and yes I tried it a few times, restarted the pc and tried again.

I tried to export it again now to get the exact phrasing in the "fail-message", but ironically this time it worked
