File lost when Adobe updated, any chance to retreat the restored files?

So my mac crashed and restarted, and it triggered Adobe update.

At the time I was working on a file but the update deleted Ai 2021 which I assume is where restored files are saved. And now all my unsaved files are gone even tho I had autosave on.

Does anyone know anyway for me to retrieve the lost files?

Hope you are doing well and sorry to hear that. As described you want to recover the lost file as yo have turned on the Auto save preference settings.

Please go through the help page https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/saving-pdfs.html#recover_lost_changes and see if that works for you.
