I hired a PDF to Excel conversion service and I'm having trouble with a nine thousand page file. The file has 16MB and so I know converter supports files up to 100MB. I wonder if the problem is related to the size of the file, or the number of pages, or if for some other reason.

Sorry for the delayed response and inconvenience caused. As per the description above, you are not able to convert a PDF file to Excel as getting a conversion error, Is that correct?
There is no page limit to export the PDF file. Adobe Export PDF supports conversion of PDF files up to 100 MB. The record shows that you are subscribed to the Adobe ExportPDF service.
Try exporting the PDF file using a different browser through the URL https://cloud.acrobat.com/exportpdf with your Adobe ID and password and see if this brings any difference.
