Fill and Sign not working for Adobe Export PDF

Please advise how to fix this. When I pull open my PDF, click tools, then fill and sign the signature box that normally holds my signatures is completely gray.

Please advise how to fix this!

Hey Carolg,

Since you are a subscriber of Adobe Export PDF, I assume you are working online and accessing the Fill & Sign service online via web browser?

  • If yes, then you may check with a different web browser first or delete cache or cookies of current one. Login to Adobe Document Cloud and use Fill & Sign feature again.
  • Check with a different PDF file than the one you are working currently.
  • Or if its through free desktop application Adobe Reader DC, then first reboot the Reader and Sign Out from the application and Sign In back.
  • Also, you may check whether your application has the latest patch installed or not. Open Reader>Help>Check for update or DC Release Notes — Release Notes for Acrobat DC Products

Let us know if this doesn't fix the issue.
