Fill and sign problems

I have Adobe Reader DC. I can print and edit etc. When i go to fill and sign a document it goes blank. It also does same for sending for signature. It does this to all pdf's. The pen icon is there but the pdf goes blank and it doesn't give me the pull down options e.g. add signature. I have windows 7. Anyone else having this problem? I have uninstalled and installed plus countless other things the have been suggested on forums but nothing works. Any suggestions? I

Thanks Josh,

Looked at thread. Tried all of them. I had originally tried them all but figured no harm to try again. No luck.

I see no one else had luck either.
