Find/Seach feature does not work

I can download Google Books to PDF format, but cannot search the text. I only have this issue with Google Books.

Most Google books are scanned images, not actual text, so they cannot be searched.

To make such PDFs searchable, you need to run them through text recognition (OCR), which can be done with programs like Adobe Acrobat.
