Font changes symbols on exporting PDF.

Hi, I used adobe cloud created a useless word version after converting the file from PDF.  It has a bunch of meaningless symbols.  Any idea why is this happening? this is an example of the word file:  I li c professionaJ clc.uniog service,. to be provided hereunder (the "Services'')shall
comprise the cleaning activities dcfitted below(me..Cleaning Activities") Ill the Service L.ocat ioos . Areas to be deaned include butan:
not limited to the common areassuch rece.ptjoo.  hallways.ttstrooms..conference r0<>ms..
I would appreicated any help.

Hi carolinajd,

It seems to be the PDF specific issue. The font used in the PDF is not available on your system.

When you export PDF, it converts the font to the most similar font available on your system.

Please confirm if it is an issue with a particular PDF.
