I have been using Adobe Reader to convert files from PDF to Word to fix things for years.  I have a membership that when I checked showed I had auto re-newal and was not due to pull again until April.  I go to convert a file and a popup comes up that will not let me by to use the program as I have always done.  I try everything. Finally because i am running out of time to complete my project I go to the upgrades and pick the very best one $ 95 bucks a year upgrade. Should get me going right. So I but it....  Then go back too finish my project only to find a new popup wanting more money. Still stuck and now VERY angry ...... want my money back and to go find another product to use in the future.

Hi stuck in a circle,

I can understand your frustration. I can't tell from looking at your account, but my guess is that the new order for Adobe PDF Pack is still pending, and that's why you're not able to use that subscription just yet.

However, I'm curious about the issue you were getting with ExportPDF. Were you trying to log in from Reader and getting an error that it was unable to access the online service? Did you try logging in via the web interface at https://cloud.acrobat.com?

How can I help right now? Would you like to cancel you new subscription? Or would you like me to help get that file converted while your order finishes processing? Let me know what I can do!

Best,

Sara

I should not have had to re-new anyway that’s is what is really strange.

I ended up locating an old version of the document in word and editing it multiple times to finish my task. But I am over it. I do not want to have to go to the web to edit stuff. The design of the past let me click on a PDF and from the right side click to move to word or excel. I want this feature back. I am not interested in adding steps by going to the web and having to sign in each time. Is this still possible?  Can someone test my version and make it work? I need it to stop asking for money and upgrades and actually work.

Hi James,

I was able to sign in to your account from Adobe Reader (I removed your log-in info from your last post so it doesn't fall into the wrong hands). And, I converted a file to make sure that all was well--feel free to delete it from your account.

So, you don't need to log in to the web interface. Just open Reader, and make sure that you have the most current version by choosing Help > Check for Updates. You should be all set!

Best,

Sara
