Getting failed - Insufficient permission error

accessed a document from a website while using Google Chrome. I clicked the download button to save onto Adobe Acrobat DC, and this is when I received the message. Using Mac Sierra OS

    Hi NotaryKP,

    Could you please try following steps and see if that resolves the issue:

    1- Launch Google Chrome

    2- Click on 3 vertical dots in the top right corner of the screen.

    3- Click on Settings>then click Show advanced settings

    4- Scroll down to Downloads section

    5- Click on Change to change the download location, and set it to some other location on your hard drive.

    6- Close settings windows and then try to perform the same task and see if you are still getting that error.
