Have converted pdf file into a word document. How do I engage the edit option?

    Hi jnicholasperkins,

    In Word, please try triple-clicking in the text block that you want to edit.

    If that doesn't work, we'll want to take a closer look at how the original PDF was created. If the PDF was created from a scanned document, it could be that some of the image text wasn't converted to editable (selectable) text.

    Please let me know if you have trouble with triple-clicking to select, and we'll take it from there if necessary.

    Thanks your reply. Not scanned. Document built on an IMac, converted to pdf then by Acrobat to a word document. Tried triple witching a text bloc to edit. Got a cold shoulder. Somewhere within Acrobat’s history there should be an answer.
