How can I compress a large PDF to a smaller size so I can eMail it?

PDF files can only be reduced so much, depending on its contents.  Some PDFs can be reduced by up to 90%, others only by 1% or 2%.

Much better than attaching a large e-document to email is to use a file sharing service (Acrobat.com, Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft OneDrive, ...); upload the doc and share it, then send the download link via email.

You would need to use Acrobat software in that Case. You can download a free 30 day trial from here : Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X

After downloading and installing the software, Open the pdf file in Acrobat and Go to file menu and then click on 'Save as other' and then choose 'Reduced size PDF', (if you are an advanced user then you can choose 'optimized PDF' instead, and apply the desired settings.)
