I have received a PDF draft copy. The sender is asking for me to proofread it.  How can I mark errors or change text and save if under a new name?

Hi susanb,

If you have the free Adobe Reader, you can use the Commenting tools to mark it up. However, to actually edit the text, you would need to use Acrobat (Reader doesn't allow you to edit text in a PDF).

Whether you use Acrobat or Reader, you can choose File > Save As to save the file to a new filename.

You can download the free Reader from this page: https://get.adobe.com/reader. For information about Acrobat, please see https://adobe.com/products/acrobat.html.
