how convert pdf when pdf has password that i know?

i have a pdf file 30+ pages that i want to convert to word for editing (the pdf is protected). the pdf has a password to access it.

trying to convert on my pc with adobe reader or online results in an error message. there is not option to enter the password.

Hi RIchard Reeder,

If you are the owner of the pdf or know the password of the pdf and can access it, then you can remove the password for time being and can convert it first and then re-set the password on the pdf. Does that Help?
