When converting a word file into pdf , is there a way of how to decrease the size ( KB) of the file ?

Hi et.fd,

There's no way to control the size of the file when you use Adobe PDF Pack to convert a file to PDF.  But, you can use Acrobat to reduce the file size of a PDF. You're welcome to try Acrobat--you can download a free 30-day trial from http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html. In Acrobat, choose File > Save as Other > Reduced Size PDF.
