Hi peterb,

I see that you just got an ExportPDF subscription. Unfortunately, it doesn't allow you to compress PDF files (that's a job for Acrobat). But, you have several options. You can use Adobe Send to send large files (no need to compress the file); or you can use Acrobat to compress the file (you're welcome to try Acrobat for free for 30 days).

If you decide that you don't want the ExportPDF subscription because it doesn't do what you need it to do, let us know and we can either swap that for a different subscription or cancel and refund you.

Best,

Sara

Yes please cancel the subscription. It doesn’t to what I thought it would and refund me the money in full.

Thanks

As Sara wrote, you can use Acrobat Pro to optimize / compress PDF files.  By how much depends on its contents.

Much better than attaching large e-documents to email is to use a file sharing service like https://cloud.acrobat.com/files:

  1. upload the file
  2. share the file (via Send | anonymous link
  3. send the download link by email instead of an attached file
