How do I install Acrobat Pro once I download it?

I just signed up for 12 mth Acrobat Pro and downloade it. But I'm having trouble installing it. I export from InDesign to PDf and it keeps coming up as the old Acrobat which asks me to sign up again?

So do you actually have two Acrobat versions installed? On what operating system?
