how do i renew my annual subscription?  It was set to auto renew, but the credit card number changed.

    This document tells you how to update your credit card information: Manage your membership and payments | Creative Cloud. You'll find what you're looking for in the Payment & Credit Card section. Your renewal should go through when you update your credit card details.
