‌I have a PDF document I am editing acrobat cloud by highlighting text. Unfortunately I was editing the pdf on my iPad but it seems when I opened acrobat on my iPhone it overwrote the changes because the pdf was already opened on an old version there. How do I get back my previous version saved on document cloud?? i have lost quite alot of annotations (highlighting). thanks

Hi jimmypaleo,

As the document is synced between your devices and the document cloud, you changes will be automatically reflected on the document cloud copy once you close the documents.

Now it won't be possible to undo the changes or retrieve the original file.

That seems like an issue in the way the software handles writes. The software should be able to detect a newer version on the server and warn before uploading. In this instance i would have said no to such upload.

Thanks,

Jim

Hey jimmypaleo,

If you are working on a file saved on document cloud, its like you are working in a real time. And the changes are automatically saved once you close the file.
