How do I split a 400MB file (pdf) into smaller files ?

Hello,

I have been strugaling with this for over an hour. I was able to reduce the file size to about 73 megs. However when I try to go to TOOLS then to PAGES that option does not show up under tools or anyware. Not sure what to do as I need to send this file today.

Hey fer.mor.oli.med,

Firstly, you need to have Adobe Acrobat installed on your computer if you want to split a PDF file.

You might open Acrobat and choose "Tools> Pages> Split Document"

But, since it is a 400 MB file, you will first need to reduce its size through File> Save as Other> Optimized PDF and then use split it into multiple files.
