How do I stop the Adobe ExportPDF sidebar menu running in all of my software and blocking the screen?

Hi B Faro,

I'm not sure that I follow. Are you in Adobe Reader, and seeing the ExportPDF option on the Tools pane on the right side of the application window? If that's the case, you can hide the Toolbar by choosing View > Show/Hide > Toolbar Items > Hide Toolbars.
