How do I turn on OCR to make an exported PDF editable in word?

Signed up to make a PDF into an editable word document.

Converts to word but is not editable?

What am I doing wrong?

    Hi gemthermotech,

    OCR is enabled by default when you convert a PDF to Word via the ExportPDF website (it can be disabled via Reader, but it is enabled there by default as well).

    Sometimes, it takes triple-clicking within the text to Word to select it. Does that work for you?

    Hi -

    I upgraded my package to Adobe pro and then it worked. It's a lot more expensive than the basic paid one but at least it does what I need it to.
