If you want to make text changes in a scanned PDF, you will need Acrobat and perform text recognition (OCR) on it.  This will convert any "text" in a scanned image to editable text.

Hi Farkies,

Are you trying to edit the PDF, or did you convert the PDF to Word, and are trying to edit that document? If you converted a PDF to Word using Acrobat or ExportPDF, OCR (Optical Character Recognition) would have been performed by default to convert scanned text to editable text. What happens when you try triple-clicking in the text block that you want to convert?

Best,
Sara
