How to convert an annotated PDF with highlights to word: formatting issues

Hi,

I need a direct and quick answer to this. I have an annotated, higlighted PDF which I tried to convert to word using my basic $2 a month export package. It kept my annotations/comments, but the highlight is now completely obscured in word. This is an issue of compatibility/conversion, not with word itself. I've been told to upgrade to Acrobat Pro DC, but I am NOT buying that product without knowing EXACTLY how I would fix this in that program FIRST. I'm not sure either program can fix the issue, but if either could, an answer on how would be much appreciated.

    Hi Pauliner,

It is very hard to comment on this issue as this seems to be file specific issue.

It depends on a number of things like How was the file created, was it created using Adobe Application, Is it a scanned document, ...

Alternatively, you can check what you have been suggested install trial of Acrobat and check at your end. Acrobat has new and more feature that we can use in this case to get a better result. Like we can run OCR on the file if the file is scanned a document, we can try using Pre-flight to check if there are any issues with the file like fonts issue syntax issue etc... Download Adobe Acrobat free trial | Acrobat Pro DC
