how to get files from my outbox onto my computer?

I've exported a PDF file as a rtf on a tablet using adobe pdf export. But I can't view it. And I want to copy the file to my desktop computer to work on it. But I can't move it any where from the outbox.

What to do?

"can't" doesn't explain anything that we can understand; details please!

    Hi, thanks for your attention.

I can't view it ... when I click on the rtf file, I get an error message saying "No viewer installed."

My goal is to convert a pdf to a docx so I signed up on the grounds that Adobe reckoned it could export pdf as docx.

But when I export to docx, then the result is somewhat flawed. Some images are chopped off at the top, some pages contain orphan text. So I thought I'd try exporting to rtf and then copy it to my computer to see if it looked any better.  If I export to docx, then this is easy enough, first I first view it, then share it. But with an rtf file, this doesn't work because I can't view the rtf file, I can't do anything with it.

    Cheers,

Assuming that you view .docx files with Microsoft Word, .rtf files should also open in Word.  If they don't, you need to set your file association for .rtf files to Microsoft Word (or Microsoft Word Viewer).

If you need help with that, tell us your operating system.
