hello,

How to turn scanned files to nightmode on PC?

I assume it is possible because i managed to do it on my Android.

The option of Edit>prefrence>replace document colors. didn't work.

Would apriciete very much somebodies help.

    This is a seven years old thread. I suggest you start a new thread, describe your issue and indicate your Adobe application and version and OS.

    I don't really know what it is for sure you're looking to do, but I'll take a guess...  Try this:

    1.  In the Channels panel, click on the Red channel on the word "Red" to highlight it.

    2.  Hold down the Shift key and click on the word "Blue" to highlight it too.

    3.  Image - Adjust - Curves, grab the point at the upper-right of the diagonal line, and pull it to the bottom, then press OK.

    4.  Click on the "RGB" to show a color image again.

    I will try to explain my self again.

    I have many materials that I have to read to university on scanned PDF files.

    seating long hours in front of a white screen really tires the eyes.

    one time I downloaded the PDF file to my Galaxy 3 and opened it with the Adobe reader app.

    In that app there is an option which is called "night mode" that turns the scanned file to negative (black background and white text).

    assuming that the PC version of Adobe reader is more sophisticated, I was trying to do the same on my PC but didn't manage to.

    looking in the forums of Adobe I saw that there was an advice to turn the background black and the writings green by doing:Edit>preference>replace document colors.

    but it worked only on non-scanned files.

    The options you gave do not exist on Adobe reader.
