How to work with large number of files with Adobe's cloud Export PDF

I have about 1000 PDF files to be converted to excel.

What are the optimal ways (i.e., with least manual intervention) in which I can do these tasks:

* upload

* convert

* download

Any pointers to a link will be useful. The FAQ page does not have this info: FAQ | Adobe Export PDF

I figured out one way to upload it via web browser and convert it via web browser (using point and click, in the GUI). Both these methods REQUIRE the browser to be open while the upload and the conversion are happening - and this leads to frequent crashes/ freezing of the browser windows while uploading/ converting many files at once.

How to do background sync (i.e. like in Dropbox or Box etc., wherein I dump the files in a folder and it syncs in the background automatically) for uploading/ downloading files?

It would be great if someone can point out to an optimal/ recommended workflow for handling (converting) a large number of PDF files using Adobe Document Cloud Export PDF

There is no optimal or recommended workflow. This isn't conceived of for the $20 product. Not even the $500 Acrobat product would do 1000 PDFs without some pain, but it would be a bit better.
