I am combining 12 pdf files into a single pdf, but I keep getting a "conversion failure" message saying the document is password protected, but I haven't password protected anything. How can I prevent this?

I would recommend you to make sure that All your pdf files are 'NOT' password Protected. If even one of those PDF is password protected at the time on Conversion then you would get the same error message.

If you are using Acrobat software then the easy way to Check the Security Status of each file would be - to Open the particular pdf file and then Open Document Properties ( Ctrl+D ) and then Click on the Security Tab and Make sure that -

• 'No Security' option is selected in the 'Security Method' option
• All options under Document Summary Shows "Allowed"
