Question

I am trying to create editable forms from scratch. What program can I use?

I already have Adobe Acrobat XI Standard, and CS6.  I see the online program, Formscentral, but it won't let me save my document to a PDF without subscribing.  When I click to subscribe, the website says that the service is being discontinued in June.  I am curious what is the best program to make forms from scratch.

Thanks!!

    Hi brookes,

Last week we announced that FormsCentral will be retired on July 28 2015, and in light of that we are no longer offering subscriptions or upgrades.

Please see this Help document for information about creating forms in Acrobat (it includes information for both Standard and Pro): http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/using/creating-distributing-pdf-forms.html#creating_and_distributing_pdf_forms

Thanks Sarah, So are you saying that there is no way to start from scratch anymore? I will need to create it in another program and then convert it?

    Thank you,

Acrobat Pro lets you create a form from scratch or a template. You're welcome to try Acrobat Pro for free for  30 days. Please see http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html for more information.
