I am upgrading to acrobatproXI but it will not recognise my password. I have been onto the site and verified my password.

I am upgrading to acrobatproXI but it will not recognise my password. I have been onto Adobe.com and verified my password.

    What password: the password to install, or the password to activate Acrobat?

    The password to activate Acrobat.

    I am not aware of another.

    The dialogue box comes up as 'acrobatpro11_dlm wants to make changes. type your password to allow this change' and then the Name which enters automatically is 'APPLE' then it asks for my Password.

    I have tried my apple password as well.

    This sounds like it wants your local Administrator password.
