I cannot download pdf reader

I do not know why, the Reader is no more on my laptop. I try to get it by download and it does not work

    Where you trying to download Reader from, and what happens when you try? Are you receiving an error message?

    For starters, please log in to your system as an administrator, disable any antivirus software, and then try to download from http://www.adobe.com/products/reader.html.

    It does not work. I have disabled my antivirus and it works not. I cannot install he reader and get no error from Adobe.
