Hi joe henry,

What are you using to open the JPEG in? Are you trying to convert it to PDF using Acrobat or Adobe PDF Pack?

Please tell me a bit more about the problem you're running into, and we'll do our best to get to the bottom of it.

Best,

Sara

i scan a document using my printer. it scans it to my desktop as a Adobe Acrobat document.jpg When i check the properties, it states it will open with Adobe Reader XI. but when i try to open it, the error message states that the document is not supported or it is damaged

Hi Joe,

For Reader to open a document, it needs to be saved as a PDF with a .PDF extension. It sounds like you may have the wrong filename extension on those files. JPEG is an image format, which you would be able to open with an image editing application, such as Photoshop.

So, please make sure that you're saving those files from your scanning software as PDF files, and that they have the correct, .pdf  filename extension.

Best,

Sara
