I have a document shared in the cloud. When users click the link, they see a right hand column of document details. How do I hide this column (at least on the first load)?

hi,

I would prefer it if users who click on the link I send out do not see the right hand column of document summary info. Can I hide this? This is for appearance's sake, not for secrecy.

Unfortunately, there is no way for you, the Sender, to suppress this by default. I will bring your request to the product team.

There is a way for the recipient to hide the Right Hand panel. Just click this button:

(I realize that this doesn't do what you are asking, but thought that I would mention it.)
